Entry level MIG welder must possess basic welding knowledge

Experienced MIG welder must possess an in depth knowledge of welding

Ability to use fixtures

Proficient in reading a tape measure

Certifications a plus but not mandatory

Observe all plant and safety guidelines

Applicants must be able to pass welding test consisting of the following:

Ability to set up welder before and during the test

Vertical up/down welding

Horizontal welding

Weld wraps

Ability to close the gap and overall weld

Diamond Manufacturing has up to date equipment (MIG Welders; Tig Welders, Laser, Plasma Table, Press Brake, Machining Centers, and Fresh Air Control).

Diamond Manufacturing works a four (4) day/10-hour work schedule Monday through Thursday. If necessary, overtime work is scheduled on Friday. Starting pay for weld position is between $17.00 and $20.00 based upon weld test results and relevant experience.   Pay increase at  6 months and 12 months and annually thereafter.

· Candidate must hold Class A CDL

· Due to insurance requirements, must be at least 25 years of age

· Must be willing to drive a forklift

· Excellent communication skills

· Computer skills a plus

· Experience in inventory control a plus but not mandatory

· Ability to work with minimal supervision

· Ability to prioritize responsibilities

· Observe all plant and safety rules

This position works a traditional 5/8 hour day schedule. Overtime will be scheduled if necessary. Starting pay for this position will be reviewed based upon experience. This position will be responsible for local driving only.

· Must be willing to wear a respirator during the paint process

· Experience in wet painting processes in a manufacturing environment

· Ability to mix the coating product with recommended ratio of reducer

· Ability to adjust equipment to control spray pattern for optimum finish

· Requires physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination

· Execute the Wet Film Thickness (WFT) verification accurately

· Ability to prioritize responsibilities

· Responsible for proper inventory of paint supply needs; provide proper notification when supplies are needed

· Ability to use diaphragm paint pumps

· Responsible for cleaning and maintaining paint guns and equipment

· Ability to disassemble and reassemble paint guns

· Forklift responsibilities when needed

· Willing to work in areas of the plant when needed (assembly)

· Excellent time management skills; work without supervision

· Must be quality focused and able to pay very close attention to detail

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Observe all plant and safety guidelines
